Yes, finally I was able to finished Iljimae and somehow I feel sad. No more LJK for now. lol. And next year he might be enlisting in the army. So sad. IF I haven’t read all the articles about the ending I would be one of those who will be saying ‘What the h3ll?’. Frankly, I don’t get the ending. If not for this article I would scratching my head in frustration. But despite of the ending I must say that I did enjoy the drama and the underlying message that it brings.

In Episode 20, those who are close to Iljimae have already known his identity. In fact, that’s was the start of the teamwork to help him achieved his goal. The overflowing support was really touching to watch. And the brilliance of the plan made me admire ILJIMAE, although he was fictional. But the drama when Swe Dol died left me drained and in tears. Really, LJK is a good actor but I also have to mentioned Park Shi Hoo’s acting is very convincing.

The last part of the drama is really confusing. The scenes were a combination of the now, the past and some unreal stories. In fact the last few minutes was a scene wherein Ketong interrupted a storytelling session and then Iljimae appeared again. I was wondering it is part of the story of Ketong or its real. That Iljimae returned because the King did not fulfill his promise. The King was even uneasily and kept on telling that Iljimae is back.

All in all, I enjoyed this drama. Well, I can say primarily because of LJK. Although some say that he has exaggerated comical acting I would still say he really can make me laugh hard. Crunchyroll has now the complete english sub episode for this drama.

But in AZNV, this series was number one at that time among Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese drama. Today, it was already taken over by other drama but it still has 98% rating.

Time of Dog and Wolf (TODAW) reminds me of the novel and movie Jason Bourne. Wherein LJK became an undercover agent and then through the process suffered memory loss. There are a lot of twist and turn in the drama which showcase LJK’s fighting talent. And the story itself will keep you on the edge of your seat. But this is not only an action movie. It also has some heavy drama and a lot of heart. Especially the relationship of LJK with his adoptive family and of course his childhood friend whom he met in Thailand. It really is good until your reach the ending, which is no surprised because we all know the trademark of Kdramas…not so good closure. Just like Iljimae, TODAW’s ending left many questions and debates. But all in all its a good one. Worth the time. In fact, I watch it over and over again.

For now, I decided to wait for the whole series to have english subs. I have watched until Episode 13 but i plan to rewatch the beginning when I have time. And I’ll have to judge if it needed a sequel as others are demanding. lol!

..this series is currently airing in Korea and how I wish we have SBS in our cable. Even if I don’t understand Korean language I still can see Lee Jun Ki. lol!

I am not a big fan of historical drama. Truth is I cannot tolerate Dae Jang Geum / Jewel In The Palace. I just can’t watch it. But with Iljimae I am making an exception since its LJK. hehe!

Although its a historical drama, LJK’s portrayal of RYUNG is hilarious. Since he played the role of a happy go lucky youngster. I always laugh with his interaction with his father (he again team up with him after FLY DADDY FLY movie). And he also team up with Han Hyo Joo, if you are scratching your head thinking of who she is well she is the lead actress in Spring Waltz.

Iljimae is not boring (LJK is a good comedienne! lol!) and I was also laughing on the comments on YOUTUBE since the first few episodes shows a young Ryung. LJK is still not on screen. But when he appeared, the LJK comments started. I remember one user saying ‘And so the lee jun ki comments started. drumroll!’. lol! But really LJK is a good actor, may it be action, drama or comedy. And I was telling myself that you can see another LJK here, far different from TIME OF DOG AND WOLF. He looks a bit younger here that in TODAW.

So here I am again waiting for English subs. As I was writing this I realized Iljimae is being aired in SBS not MBC as I have thought. Now I checked this guide and realized the DESTINY have MBC. Hmm!

• The news of a 16 year old student in PUP who was raped by her 20 classmates. Its horrible. Her mother was still in shock. Imagine from June 25 to June 26, the girl was rape by different men and according to her she was even forced to drink illegal drugs. The case right now is under investigation but the girl is in the hospital because she needs to undergo counselling and they are also suspecting that she might have contracted STD. My heart goes out to her.
• Wu Chun in Manila mania. I posted a few days back that Wu Chun will be coming to Manila on July 12 to 14 with Angela Zhang. Because that was reported on TV Patrol. But last night there was an ad that he will be coming with fellow Farhenheit member Calvin Chen. I think the reason behind Calvin and Wu Chun coming to Manila (that’s Farhenheit minus two) was that both know how to speak in English.
• It was the first time that I watched My Girl and LOBO. For LOBO, I think Angel Locsin still has room for improvement, she still has a long way to go. While MY GIRL, the only bright side is Kim’s acting. lol! I saw the preview of the next episode where Enchong Dee will be crying in his car. And I am trying to search for a video of that same scene but with LJK. I know I might be biased on this one but Enchong Dee did not gave justice to the role portrayed by LJK for My girl Korea.
• Okay, this is not on local tv here in our country but it is in Korea. I finally watched Iljimae. I am trying to prevent myself from viewing it but I can’t help myself. And I am glad I watched it because it made me laugh a lot of times. Don’t get me wrong. Iljimae is not a comedy movie but its a historical drama. Pardon me for saying it made me laugh but LJK’s role is something worth laughing. I just love it and that is from someone who never watch historical drama. Two words for Iljimae : LJK shines!

With all the time in front of the tv and computer not to mention reading books and magazine, I might one day need to wear eyeglasses again. But I know I need to take extra care of my eyes by using the proper light.

Okay, back to my new crush. Actually I have three of them and all of them i  discovered by watching Asian Dramas. How pathetic can I get. lol! Whatever, still this guy top my list. 

He looks like a girl, right ? I got the pics from the Gallery of Asianfanatics. I haven’t watched this movie yet but it is highly rated and have gave numerous awards to Lee Jun Ki. Yap, that’s him!

Lee Jun Ki, starred in My Girl as Jung Woo. He was the third wheel on the romance of the main character. I am a little bit curious as to how Enchong Dee will portray his role in the local version of My Girl especially the fight scenes wherein LJK showed his talents in martial arts. The truth is I dislike LJK in My Girl. I just don’t like how he dressed and his hair style. Really! But when I watched Time Between Dog and Wolf ( this is a suspense drama which I can somehow relate LJK’s character to Jason Bourne) I turn into a LJK fan. I love the drama. It’s one of those drama that I watch over and over. Why ? To see this face.
