dOne time last week I was searching for the Iljimae episodes in YOUTUBE. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find it. So I stopped. I wanted to watch even the raw videos because I just want to see LJK in action. Truth is if not for him I won’t be watching this drama.

I only finished watching 13 english subbed episodes of it. This week it is now on its 19th episode with soaring ratings. Currently number in the whole of Korea. Next week will be its last episode. Many are speculating on its ending especially most Kdramas ended in tragedy. Oh men, I do hope Iljimae won’t die. hehe! And by the way he was named Iljimae because of the drawing of the flower he always left at the scene of the crime he committed.

IF you are wondering why you can’t find the raw vids in YOUTUBE, it was because SBS has put a copyright claim on it (the account of the member who posted the episodes is now suspended, while other videos were removed) . Meaning it can’t be post without there permission. So sad! But there are still streaming sights who have both raw and subbed episodes of it.

According to the write up I saw (I can’t remember where, sorry!)..if Lee Jun Ki won’t have any projects after this he would be enlisting himself for military services. Whooh! Do you think he needs moving pods for that ? LOL!

I thought I won’t be busy yesterday because I have ordered food from McDo but I thought wrong. lol. I started cooking at around 10am, was able to rest a few minutes before the little girl’s mini birthday party.

I was so glad that nine kids were able to come. The kids live near my brother’s apartment which is a little bit far from our house. The little girl was so happy with her visitors.

It was tiring but fun. My princess birthday left me cooking some additional food because I was worried that the meal I ordered from McDo was not enough. I, of course cook my tried and tested recipes. And the guest love my cooking. Hooray!

This drama recently ended and its now that I remembered it. This drama stars none other that the great KIMURA TAKUYA. For me any drama that has KIMUTAKU in it is worth watching.

Synopsis from dramawiki :

The story begins with the deaths of ruling party’s Fukuoka legislator and his eldest son, his heir apparent, in an accident. It is decided that a by-election will be held, and Kanbayashi Masaichi, the leader of the ruling party, and secretary Miyama Rika conceive the idea of fielding the second son, Asakura Keita, who had been renounced by his father.

After Keita graduated from senior high school, he went on to a university in Nagano because he wanted to live in a place with beautiful stars, and eventually became an elementary school teacher over there. Well-liked by children and satisfied with his beloved star gazing, Keita has no interest in the world of politics. However, at Rika’s persuasion and the pressure of his family, he reluctantly decides to announce his candidacy.

Upon returning to Fukuoka, Keita is given a hearty welcome by supporters. The election strategist, Nirasawa Katsutoshi, arrives there. He is guided by the notion “election is the only permitted legal war” and begins Keita’s election campaign.

This drama is centered on the politics in Japan. I haven’t watched the entire drama yet, in fact I just finished Episode 1 and I like it already.

Look at KimuTaku :

From the teacher who loves to watch the stars

To the inexperienced politician.

In the first episode, Kimura Takuya team up again with Abe Hiroshi (they co acted in the HERO drama). Now, Abe Hiroshi plays an election planner. I cannot forget his line “ELECTION IS THE ONLY WAR PERMITTED BY THE LAW”. And when asked why he became an election planner, he answered, ‘Did you know how many elections occur in Japan in four years ? 3700 to 3800.’ Wow! That’s a lot!

I will be finishing the rest of the episodes (nine more to go) after I’m finished with my offline and online task.

Meanwhile if you wanted to view this drama with ENGLISH SUBS you can go to AZNV.

i had a hard time figuring out on how to get my top entrecard droppers for the month. I have seen a lot of blogs who have been thanking those who have dropped their cards in their blog for the month and the number of times they have dropped their card.

I was thinking, it would be impossible for this bloggers to track their top droppers manually. Hello! That would take a lot of time really. And I search google but somehow all the pages that where indexed have not given me an answer. I was thinking there might have been some kind of plugin for this but on the other hand its not only wordpress blog but also blogspot blog that have this every month.

So, I researched until I found the solution.

As you can see, on my sidebar both for these and my other blog you can see a widget (in wordpress) or page element (in blogger) of my blogs recent five entercard droppers, right ? So how can you have this in your blog. Simple.

Logon to your Entrecard account. And get the RSS feed. The RSS feed can be seen on your dashboard, right beside the last id of one of your Entercard droppers. Click the icon for the feed. Your are now on the feed. Copy the url and then paste it to your widget or page element. Of course, the additional widget or page element will have to be an RSS.

Now for your TOP ENTRECARD DROPPERS for the MONTH. This isn’t done through a widget. It is provided by Entrecard but since most of us do just go to our DASHBOARD and DROPS INBOX we fail to see this one. For your Entrecard Droppers, once you are on your summary window, scroll down until you’ve reach your QUICKSTATS table. And then clicked more stats. Upon arriving to your statistics window scroll down until you see a table. That table consist of your top entrecard droppers for the month. Either you copy and paste the table or the rss feed. Easy right ?

Just in case you are still confused, drop me a line and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Oh and if you have time you might want to check the wine of the month clubs

One of the most in demand jobs nowadays is Information Technology or as we simply call it IT. My husband and I (before I decided to be a stay at home mom) are employed in one of the leading IT company in the world. Its a tough job especially for my husband since he was always on call just like a doctor.

Being in the IT fields has its own advantages and disadvantages. More often that not IT jobs are high paying. But to make your market value go higher and to be sure you won’t be left behind you also need to upgrade yourself by taking trainings and different certifications every year. In fact, in our previous company each engineers are asked to put around two or three additional knowledge they should acquired in the current year and this are documented in what we call personal business commitment (PBC). At the end of the year, based on what is written on the PBC there would be year end assessment and the evaluation will be the basis of your salary increase.

I remember way back 2005, hubby’s group (which consist of engineers tasked to repair printers, tape drives, servers, AS400 etc) were asked to take the Cisco certification exam. As part of the preparation for the certification they attended classes during weekends which was spearheaded by CISCO certified professional. There where also given reading materials and reviewers for it. During that period I was there by my husbands said reviewing him. He jokingly told me at that time to take the exam with them since he thinks I am more prepared than him. lol!

Unfortunately, he did not pass the exam along with his groupmates. I think only one made it. Maybe, the cramming did not work for them. The lack of experience with CISCO (since at that time we only have few CISCO clients and not all of them are tasked to repair it ) and they can’t focus on the exam because of all the customer calls they have to attend. 100% of their time is dedicated on visiting clients and being on the field. They cannot find the time to sit and review. But all of them vowed to take the exam again because they know that certification will help them climb up the IT ladder and land another high paying job, which of course we all know is true.

Almost if not all, or about 90% of those who took the exam are no longer connected with our previous company. Most of them have found employment in the Middle East, with a salary that range from Php 80k to Php 300k. Its a lot higher that what they are receiving here in the Philippines. About 50% to 90% higher with housing and transportation allowance (car and airfare). But those CISCO certified have much higher demand and have higher salary.

Right now, I am still encouraging my husband to make sure he maximized the training program his company is giving him. Not only is he gaining knowlegde he can also travel. Along with this training he also wants to be Cisco certified in the near future. Since as an IT professional he needs to have career growth every year. Which if you can to think of it, that is also applicable to me. But right now, my opportunity is to be a mother. But when the little girl start schooling I would also start relearning and build up my IT career again.

Oh yeah! Its not only the baby who is getting her shots. The mommy too!

Today when I went for a check up, Doc gave me two shots - FLU and PNEUMONIA. The flu shots is given every year and the pneumonia shot is given every five years. I know I needed both since my first indicator of a lupus flare is always a FLU. Once I got the temperature everyone who is familiar of my lupus (families, friends, co workers etc) will be overly worried of me. So just a precaution, I know I needed to take the shot.

For the two shots plus the check up fee I paid Php 3,700. Ouch! Plus the lab test last weekend Php 3,100. So all in all for this check up, my medical expense is Php 6,800. Waahh! LUPUS really is high maintenance.

I’m trying to gather my thoughts so that I will have a decent entry for this. Right now, I have too much worries in my mind. Worries that may or may not materialized in the future.

EDZ death really left me in a shaken state. Up until this time I am still worried as to what direction my lupus will be going. As to what complication I have to endure a long the way. While I was on my way to St. Lukes for my check up, she and what she have been through have been on my mind.

Last Sunday, I went to a nearby clinic for some test. This are routine test that I need to bring to Dr. Ino every check up. But this time, I have an additional test — 2D Echo. He asked me to undergo such when I told him about the anxiety attack that i had experience. When I have undergone the 2d echo, I was nervous. Nervous that they might find out something is wrong with my heart.

Tuesday, I phoned the clinic to asked if the results are already for pick up. They told me that they are, so I rushed over and get the papers. I was so thankful to the big guy up there when I saw that the findings are all normal. Of course thats my non medical point of view since I can see NORMAL all over the paper.

Today, we went to St. Lukes. I have long been waiting for this check up since EDZ death because I badly needed to talked to Dr. Ino about it. Talking to my rheuma sometimes help but not this time. lol. What he said after telling him about EDZ dying of pulmonary hypertension makes me worried even more.

According to him, we, lupus patients are really prone to this DEADLY disease. Especially those patients with prolong prednisone intake (that’s me! been on pred since 2002). And me being overweight makes the chances of acquiring the disease higher. And with my history of pulmonary embolism, having pulmonary hypertension is FATAL. Urgh!

Then he proceeded by saying that there is a slight indicator of heart disease on my 2D echo. And I thought the result is CLEAN. But he told me that the indicator may or may not indicate that I have heart disease. Because sometimes the indicator is also present on normal people. It can occur during the test because of nervousness or something. So what we need to do is monitor. And now he ordered me to have CHEST XRAY. I think its been years since he asked me to have one. And based on the result of the XRAY he will know what is the reason behind my shortness of breathing. He also said that I might be right. That all of these can be attributed to me being overweight. So, I really needed to LOSS WEIGHT right now.

I am worried about having a heart disease. Two of the things I am most worried about is lupus affecting my heart and kidney. I don’t care if I got ugly because of rashes. I don’t care if I go BALD. Basta, my internal organs are not affected, its ok by me. So right now I am afraid.

And because of this fear, I am now hell bent to loss weight. I needed to do this to make sure Anevay’s future still have me by her side. I just wish I can have that fear turned into discipline to attain that ideal weight.
