I received a message from my friend last night. She was asking me if I am ready for our three month vacation. I said I am a bit lazy to start putting our stuff on our luggage. Which is the truth. Somehow as the day grow near I am getting nervous. Because we will be going to a place with a different culture, and a different language ( both written and spoken ). Even if it’s just for three months, I know we will be undergoing some major adjustments. If only this is one of those New York City breaks that I always dream off it would be a lot different for me. But I guess that has to wait. Maybe later this year or next year. When the husband goes there for a training.

Summer is already here. And so a lot of us are planning for a summer getaway,right? It always pays to planned ahead because it would make your vacation really a memorable one. Not to mention, cost effective too. I have been in both planned and unplanned vacation. And I should say, nothing really beats a vacation that is well planned, well organized and well researched. On our unplanned vacation, we end up spending more that what we should but our accomodation was the same. Also, we don’t really know where to go since I was not able to study the area. Learning from our experience on our next vacation, I made sure I look for information, feedbacks and reviews. And that paved off because we have the vacation of the lifetime. We only spend the fee for the package and nothing more. But everything was handed to us in a silver platter. It was just teriffic. So now I know what to do everytime we go on a vacation.
My siblings and I have different talent. My older brother ( who is the eldest ) is more on being creative. He is a freelance graphic artist. While my older sister has a way with numbers. She grow up winning medals in every Math Quiz Bee she participated. Now she is with one of the largest bank in the country. And while me on the other hand has this thing about computers. Though it was not a childhood dream but as I grow old I was accustomed with technology and the products that it brings. But if you asked my siblings they would probably say that my talent lies on being snob and outspoken. haha. And one thing they won’t say about it is that I am not the queen of do it yourself stuff. Because I always fail whenever I attempt to do some DIY project when we were kids.
In these challenging times one should be wise in spending their hard earned money. Actually instead of spending we should be prioritizing on investment so that when the time comes the gain would be sufficient enough to sustain our spending. With this in mind, I am thinking of ways to help in the income generation of our household. But I really don’t want to go back to the eight to five work. So, I am thinking if I would just start learning about trading golds and put my fingers on to buy gold bullion. I am trying to browse through the website of the usgoldbureau.com and I am trying to see if I can learn from there and start on the field of gold investment. let see!
I am surprised to know that Ming Dao and Chen Qiao En have another drama together (as surprised as I was when a friend have asked me to help her on her wedding favors). These two are like Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin for me. And it’s been so long since they did a drama together.
Based on the lengthy synopsis that I read from mysoju.com, the drama is all about sisters which were separated and end up falling in love with the same guy. The episodes with english subs are currently being uploaded.

I really don’t watch much tv nowadays. Ever since I become a mom, the TV has been forgotten. I would rather spent my time in front of the computer, tinkering and looking to my stocks of video card than spend my time watching local tv programs. And so it happen today I was online as usual. And I just learned (through the internet) that Ruffa Gutierrez walked out of The Buzz because of Kris Aquino’s attitude. After that incident a furious Anabel Rama was interviewed by a phone in Showbiz Central. You know how Rama talks. Well, you can see for yourself. Here is the video.
I never had a chance to watch a movie in 3d. When the 3d technology started I think I am already a full pledged mom who does not have time to enjoy such. haha. Or maybe because I am too busy recovering from my LUPUS and my constant quest for vitamins for hair loss. Yeah, one of the side effects of my lupus is hair fall which sometimes result to baldness. Fortunately, after a few months the hair will grow back.
Last night I was supposed to watch 2012 the movie after chatting with the husband. But he told me that I should sleep early since I appeared to be needing one. I was teasing him if it’s already time for me to apply the best eye cream for dark circles. When I am tired, sick or lacking in sleep, dark circles appear around my eyes. My nephew and daughter have the same situation. Anyway back to the movie. I heard great reviews about it but I also heard that after watching it you might end up being paranoid. haha. I am curious really that’s why I downloaded it. I am trying to search for a list of the best movies in 2009 but unfortunately the movies in the list that I found does not interest. Maybe, my taste has changed. lol.
I am looking for good movies that were shown in the ‘80 because the husband wanted to watched them. Unfortunately my memory is not that good and I cannot come up with a list. Maybe, because at that time I was preoccupied with thinking aboutacne solutions. I wanted to get rid of the acne that are currently plaguing my face. I did find the right solution and somehow I was able to remember With Honors. This is the film that have turned me into a big Brendan Fraser fan. I love the actors and actresses in this movie and I also love the story. It tells a lot about life and how we go about it. Until today, I still can remember Brendan Fraser’s name in this movie — Montgomery ‘Monty’ Kessler.
My sister wanted to watch this movie and I want it also. I think it’s a movie that might served as my breather after a busy and work filled week. The truth is I wanted to go to a vacation ( it does not have to be in one of those beautiful Outer Banks vacation rental, though I wish it could be!) just to relaxed but since I have a lot of things to do and in two weeks we would be flying off to a different country then I am applying the principle of work now, play later first. lol.
