Too many things to do

I thought I won’t be busy yesterday because I have ordered food from McDo but I thought wrong. lol. I started cooking at around 10am, was able to rest a few minutes before the little girl’s mini birthday party.

mil3tt3One of the most in demand jobs nowadays is Information Technology or as we simply call it IT. My husband and I (before I decided to be a stay at home mom) are employed in one of the leading IT company in the world. Its a tough job especially for my husband since he was always on call just like a doctor.

The Crowning Glory

Back in 2002, on the first onslaugh of my LUPUS, my hair started falling. It falls not by one strand not by two but rather a handful in one combing. Everytime I wake up, I can see a lot of hair in my pillow. At first, I tried to hide it because I was so afraid of the thought of being bald. My siblings where shocked to see a lot of hair tucked under my bed. They never know how to react. I know they pity me. From that thick long, curly, brown hair, my crowning glory is being reduced in a way that you can now see some part of my scalp.
At that time, I know I have to choose. I have to make one drastic move which I hope can salvage my thinning hair. My boyfriend now husband agreed that my hair should be cut short until we can see that the effects of lupus and the meds on me is reduced. That’s one of the reason also that got me depressed. Giving up the crown that every woman should have is one of the most difficult decision that I did. But it was also the wisest. When I cut it, my hair stops falling and it started growing.
Six years from that time, I am now sporting a long hair which my husband loves so much that he refuse to cut it short. I only go for trim every three months to remove the dry ends. I also think that I can go for the Extreme Style by VO5 so I can have that Victory Hair? Hmmm….what did I say ? What is victory you say ? Well, as the name implies, you get the VICTORY through your HAIR. You get that most attracted men you always dream of. Not only that every man you passed by will be swooning over you. Great! right ? But what will you do next ? If ever one of those man is really the man you have like for eternity. Well, you need to PLAN. Make a plan that does not only radiates your beauty outside but also from the inside. Bring with you something that feed the mind. Because BEAUTY and BRAINS together is hard to ignore.

Projections and Budgeting
mil3tt3One of the toughest job I have right now is BUDGETING. Really, really tough. If I only have the chance not to do it, I would. lol! But I know our future lies in making sure we spend every penny wisely. The truth is BUDGETING is not my strong suit. I am a spender in the past. lol! And even if I am accustomed to having only one payday in a month. Yap, when I was still employed we only received our salary during the 15th. Its a good thing that hubby’s transportation allowance is given during the 30th. But I still wish back then that we received our pay the usual way..15th and 30th.

To go or not to go ?
mil3tt3The husband and I are talking last night. We are weighing the deciding factors if he will be going home or not this July or August. He can’t come home for the princess 2nd birthday but he can after her birthday. The topmost consideration is the remaining VLs he have. He is alloting those for his December vacation.

mil3tt3One of the things that I find convenient nowadays is doing things online. Communicating, paying bills and even shopping. With Anevay on tow doing all these things made it a bit more difficult especially now that she is energetic and heavy. Sometimes even though I don’t encourage it, she would asked me to carry her while walking. And then when we go to the bank or mall, she is everywhere. She wanted to explore and so she keeps on running around. And running after her is too tiring. So nowadays we seldom go out and I would prefer everything to be done online, if possible.
Last week, I was scouting the net for cheap VTECH or LEAP FROG products. This two companies produce educational toys and I wanted to look for a product that would encouraged my little girl to learn. She is now in the age where she recognized all the shapes, count one to ten and even write circle and straight line. I want a toy that would help her improve the skills that she already learn. I saw a cheap VTECH product in EBAY and as of this moment I am just waiting for it to be delivered. But I am still looking for more toys since its the little girl’s birthday next week.
I wonder if there are more online stores out there who are selling cheap educational toys. This stores should consider advertising in SocialSpark.com. New glasses, anyone ?
mil3tt3I have been experiencing some headaches this past few days. Sometimes my eyes get irritated to too much exposure to the laptop. Yeah, my life revolves on my laptop nowadays. lol! So I was thinking to lessen my computer time to give my eyes the needed rest. While surfing the net, I stumbled upon zennioptical.com. This site sells stylish prescripition glasses just like the one I posted online for $8. Imagine that. Its so convinient and the price is afforadable. Maybe the next time I needed glasses I would put them into consideration.

On Local TV
mil3tt3Last week, I felt the urged to avoid my laptop and sit in front of the tv. At first, I appreciated the Playhouse Disney programs and then just switched on our local tv station when its time for news. I don’t know what got into me but I started watching programs besides the news. Oh welll, I always watch Singing Bee everyday (yeah, really!) but afterwards I switched the tv off and we’ll be heading off to bed. So for a change I stayed to watch LOBO and MY GIRL. While watching TV Patrol to My girl here are some snippets that stuck into my mind.

Unendless rant

After the fix that was done to our phone lines a couple of weeks back, I again experienced slow internet connection last week. It started Tuesday night. My sister told me that they cannot connect to the Internet. Then from Wednesday onwards my internet is crawling. True, we have to laptop sharing the connection but even if you divide the speed by two it won’t give you a 100kbps speed. Yap, that slow.

Dirt Devil
mil3tt3One of the things that I am tasked to do everyday is to clean up our house. Its a tedious task but I have to do it because one, no one else will do it because its only me and Anevay at home and second I am really irritated when I see some dirt and third which I think is the most important is for our health. I am prone to gastroenteritis and based on my medical history gastro has always been the start of a flare and Anevay on the other hand have been hospitalized because of gastro at the start of the new year. So its really a MUST that the house should be clean. And to add to the mess, I have not been successful in potty training my little girl so she pee on the floor. Urgh!
Everday I sweep, mop and vacuum the floor. Some may say I am over reacting but yes, I do vacuum first and them mop the floor with a wet rag with LYSOL. Its a tiring ordeal but you see its also served as my exercise. lol! But one of the things that make the cleaning a little bit difficult is my bulky vacuum. The little girl is even afraid of it that she would cry once she heard it sound. Now, I am considering getting a handy vacuum so as not to frighten Anevay.
