Archive for Some rantings

Sigh!

I thought I would be offline for the rest of the day since my dsl provider was having problem in our area. I just discovered it during the wee hours of the morning and when I was already calling their support so that I can switched to dial up to check my mails, my connection was back! Hallelujiah.

I just realized how my life is dictated by technology. And how it can be ruined by just not having a connection for a day. Who could blame me? The part time job I am doing is dependent on my connection. And now that I don’t have during the night I loss some few bucks. Oh well.

This has been a talk of the town or should I say, it was a talk of the town when it was show a few months back. I’ll be honest, I will never go to a moviehouse to watch a Filipino movie. Never once in my life. So even if this is highly rated and highly publicized I still won’t dare go and watch it on the big screen.

But last week it was available online. And I took a gamble to watch it just so I would know why it made such a noise. Here is the synopsis :

Early Morning Rant

Every morning, after preparing the breakfast for the little one, I would turn on my laptop to check emails, see stats. Last night, because I was talking to the husband I told myself I would do all task in the morning before we go to the mall to buy my nephew his badminton racket. He lost his old one in school and his competition is coming up so the ever spoiler aunt in me told him will buy one tomorrow. lol.

This made my night last night. And to think I don’t understand the language used in this drama I still watched it in our cable tv because I just simply love it. But eventhough I can’t understand the language still I was able to grasp the gist of the episode.

Episode 4 can be describe in two words :  JEALOUSY and BROTHERHOOD. Highlights of the episode would be the heated arguments between Ji Er and DFX over Da Ying. The 1 against 100 fight of DFX vs the crooks. lol. Da Ying coming to the rescue to DFX. Da Ying receiving a blow. And the WU brothers flying high in the air through their motorbike on the crucial time to help Da Ying. Again, what is the role of Chun and George here ?

TKA shown in the Philippines

Actually this is a delayed post. They Kiss Again started airing here in the Philippines weeks ago already. I was able to watch the first week but really I am not a big fan of dubbed dramas. Although I can say ABS dubbing is way better than GMA. GMA’s dubbing sound so comical for me.

At first, I told myself to continue on watching because I was curious if ABS will air that bed scene between Joe Cheng and Ariel lin. And it was not. It was CUT. If that is an indication then a lot of kissing scene will not be aired making some sweet scene disappear. So disappointing.

Hot Shot Episode 2

Its only episode 2 and I know theres more to come but I can say that I am loving this show. The basketball stunts are really awesome although you know its only camera trick.

One thing that I like about episode 2 and I never thought I would say this but h3ll, I am loving Jerry Yan now. I admit i dislike him as Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden, which I never go to watch in whole. In fact, even if the F4 are popular here in our country way back 2001(?), I only like Vic Zhou. Truth is, because of his role in MG, I never watched any drama that has him as an actor. I know its LAME, but that just me.

One difficult customer

thats me! lol! But I am being difficult because I am receiving crappy service from PLDT.

And this are the reason why I choose to be a difficult customer :

  • I reported a problem to their hotline last Saturday night. Their engineer called me in the morning asked for my speed. When he saw that  my speed is already 1000mbps, he just told me to monitor
  • I told the engineer about the inconsistency of the speed I am getting and he told me na ganun daw talaga especially if there are many user. I answered back that his reasoning is not acceptable since why should they have different plans if all user will share the same speed, d ba?

The Promise

Luis is the first ‘apo’ on our side. Right now he is the only boy in the group. He kept on praying that someday one of us would bear a son. That’s for my sister and me.

Luis is on the 5th grade right now. A consistent honor student since first grade. He knows that I as a student have been collecting medals, so in a way he is being challenged by that thought. Luis has been close to me since I have been with them all his life until I got married. He alway look up to my husband since hubby have been teaching him a lot, from arnis to cars to life.

Another DSL rant!

I was quite furious this morning because of PLDT’s crappy customer service. Actually, my connection problem began last night while talking to hubby. And while I am doing an entry. I called 171 to report about my dsl and they wanted me to connect to the modem directly because they needed daw the correct IP. I answered him that with or without the switch the IP is still the same because I verified it a lot of times.

This morning the problem got worst. The LED for the DSL is off!

And this is the switch na lagi nilang pinagdidiskitahan.

The BIGGEST loser

..that’s me. I feel like I am in a lost – lost situation. And it irritates me and it does not help that I know I am at fault for not taking good care of it. Kainis!
