I never won any raffle draws or give away contest offline. But online I have joined once and I won the prize! Now, as I said here, I joined in the MOMMYFEST in my other blog. My main goal is to meet fellow mommies like me and winning the give aways are just secondary. But when I was blog hopping I saw a recipe book give away and I know I wanted that one to add to my collection of recipe books.
Today, I was so happy to received an email from Eleisia. Read the full post...
Summer is..as declared by PAGASA. Actually rainy season came in early this year. Four typhoons have already visited our country. Fortunately we were able to go out of town before the rains begin. And the kids were able to enjoy sumer before school starts. Luis will be on 5th grade, Buma will be entering grade school and Aish will be enrolled in prep school. My little princess will be the only one not of schooling age.

This was taken during our first Subic trip for summer 2008. Outside Legenda Suites. Before we headed to my sister’s house in Pampanga. Read the full post...

Marikina sports park that is. Well, I am still not feeling better. Still a bit paranoid bout my condition. The thoughts that are swinging on my mind are a bit morbid. So to divert my attention, I am posting this videos.

It’s our last day in Cebu and believe it or not we haven’t tour the place. Our flight is scheduled at 3:50pm, so hubby and I decided to just hire a rent a car, load our baggage and go sight seeing. That way we won’t rush to go back to the hotel to get our things.
Our first option is to hire the rent a car service of the hotel. I called them up and their rate is Php 2500 for three hours if I remember it right. Actually it was hubby who talked to them. Read the full post...
We woke up early and I feed Anevay of the cerelac I brought along. And after that we headed to the hotel lobby where breakfast is being served. A free breakfast is part of the package. I enjoy my breakfast which consist of tocino and fried rice while hubby was dissapointed with his danggit.
We prepared for our Bohol trip and at around 8am the car which was rented by the travel agency came. While on the way to the port Rem (the hotel personnel who arrange our Bohol trip ) gave us the brochure for the package tour. And I almost fell from my chair when I saw that the tour cost us Php 7900. I was shocked because my interpretation of the brochure they gave us yesterday that the tour cost us Php 3800 only. But I maintained my composure. Read the full post...
Before I go to my dramatic blogging, since hubby left last night and is now on board a plane to Kuwait from Dubai, I will first do a detailed entry of our Cebu and Bohol vacation.
The CEBU vacation cost us almost Php 8,300 per person. I book the fun tours of Cebu Pacific. I book a 3d2n vacation and we are going to stay in Crown Regency in Mactan. The booking was done through phone but the payment was made in Cebu Pacific office in Galleria. If its only for the flight, I could have paid it online but there is an hotel accomodation , so the payment should be done over the counter. I tried booking separately but the cost for the ticket alone is about Php 7k already. So I think the tour is quit a steal. Read the full post...
I got lucky. Yeah, you heard me right. Online luck strikes me when i was not expecting it. I am still on a holiday mood, i think until Jan 5.
But starting Jan 6, I would be lonesome again…haha! It would only be Anevay and me in the house. And from that day I would again be starting my countdown until hubby comes home for a vacation. That’s the life of a family with a member who is working abroad.
But still no matter how short his vacation is I am very much thankful to our LORD. We are thankful, really because we are blessed. Read the full post...
So here goes my vacation story which I will be doing in three separate entries.
But I think you might be asking, why Cebu ? Well, for one I plan this vacation because I want something different to happen during hubby’s vacation. And since we have not yet have an out of town trip as a family I thought of going somewhere far from home. Which includes riding an airplane. This will also test how Anevay and I would be on the trip. And Cebu because it was the first thing that come to my mind

This Christmas is different. It is a lot happier for us since hubby is here with us, Anevay is turning into a smart and healthy kid and me getting better as a lupie.
As part of our Christmas tradition ( on my family side) we went to our paternal relatives. This brings both joy and sorrow to me.
Everytime I see my surviving aunts and uncles, I cannot help but be sad because they reminds me of my papa and mommy. Everytime they look at Anevay with certain fondness, my heart bleds with the fact that mommy and papa were not here to see and enjoy their grandchildren. And everytime I see signs of old age, I know the time is growing near. Read the full post...
