A decade ago, I was just preparing myself to enter the real world. I am on my way of getting my degree and my diploma. Months before my graduation I decided to start writing my professional resume. Of course at that time I realized that I don’t have much to brag about and the only way I could be accepted in my dream company is the entry level. Which is always the position for newly graduate.

But fortunately or unfortunately, my resume was picked up by a supervisor who takes in trainee not employee. He interviewed me and since I was really looking forward to working with an international IT company, (with a computer history and products that one can be proud of, and not to mention that it is my dream company) I accepted the offer of having a training with them for five months. Even though that means I have to put on hold my dream of landing a job for a few months. As I learn the ropes in the company, I tried using a professional resume writer to update my resume once in a while.

After the five months training I was more than ready to leave the company armed with what I learned and the achievements that I was able to accomplished even for just a short period. I was able to establish a new procedure with the company which have shot up their savings and even put a 100% increase in terms of savings in one of their division. I am excited to put all this in my executive resumes.

But do you know what happen next? Well, I was offered a regular position in the company. And for the eight years I have been with them I have worked on different matters that somehow today I missed doing. That’s the story of my career. And should I say, make sure you have a nice resume because it may make or break your career.
