I did watch the first episode of the new drama of ABS CBN — May Bukas Pa because I am drawn to the main actor — a little boy with an angelic face. MAY BUKAS PA if translated in english would be THERE’S STILL TOMORROW. But figuratively it means there is still hope.
The story is about a boy named SANTINO who was left on a cementery when he was just an infant and was taken care by a bunch of priest in a church. I am not sure if on the later part of the drama he would turn into a miraculous boy. But the first episode has a share of smart dialogues from the little boy that got me giggling. All in all I enjoyed the episode. This drama reminds me of the email that was circulated a few years back about a boy in the province who keep on mentioning about his friend. And little did they know that the friend he was referring to was Jesus. They only known about it when he died crossing the street. I am not sure if this is where the writers got their inspiration but I am glad that a drama like this was produced.
Something that is not about love and romance. But about having hope and believing.
