I think for this week I was able to watch two or three lakorn. One I like, One is so-so and the other one surprised me by doing the Korean way in terms of ending. If you know what I mean.

So let me start with the lakorn that I like.

This one stars Aum again. Man, this actor is really a certified actor. You will loathe him and at the same time love him just like in the Defendant of Lovve.

The drama starts with Tor (Aum) asking his girlfriend, Auey to go home with him in Thailand. Auey declined so the two got in the argument. Next thing you know Auey fell off from the building landing in front of of Tor’s car. This made Tor lost his zest for life.

While Margie’s character, Perng, is a girl who have the stubborn characteristics of not being able to accept ‘no’. Their first meeting was when Perng went to Bangkok and was victimized by robber. Luckily Tor was there to rescue her. Because of Tor’s unclean look Perng did not realized that Tor is the guy she has been admiring since she was young. She just known this when their families meet up (Perng’s mother and Tor’s mother are bestfriends).

When both families have seen that Tor’s outlook suddenly change, they device a plan to make Tor and Perng fall in love with each other. Slowly their plan came into shape especially when Tor declared that he would marry Perng when they were caught kissing. They thought everything is going smoothly but unfortunately Auey’s sister Aom suddenly appeared and Tor’s declaration that he would never love anybody except for his deceased girlfriend.

The drama will show the ploy of Aom to break up the marriage of Tor and Perng’s and Tor jealousy over a friend. A usual plot for lakorn. But what suprised me about this drama is the twist wherein the families conspire against Tor to fake Perng’s death. I found that absurd but it is acceptable especially for a woman who seek the love of a man who stil think that he is still in love with his dead girlfriend. Somehow with Aum’s acting it was a feel good drama. I would also say that Margie’s acting is okay but sometimes annoying. Especially with his bangs. lol.

But definitely its a good drama. For english subs, refer to the collection in Lyn’s lakorn blog.
