I know there are a lot of die hard fans out there to actors and actresses here and abroad. Although, I admire some actors and actress, I wouldn’t consider myself a die hard fan. I never put too much effort like falling in line just to get a glimpse of that much admired star nor I let out a scream when I saw them. I have great respect for those fans who go out of their way to support the stars they admire.

But sometimes, there are fans that do not know their boundaries. That they don’t have respect for other people’s point of view. They think that their ‘IDOL’ is unblemished to the point of worshipping him/her as a highest creation of the universe. Now, you might be asking where this entry is heading too. Well, I am just a little upset about what happen to a blogger friend of mine.

This blogger friend of mine posted her bad encounter with a local actress whom they met in his boss house where they were shooting a scene from her series that is being aired locally now. Based on the story that was told by my blogger friend, the actress uttered some words that you won’t expect from a public figure like her. It seems because of her entry she offended some of her fans and those fans left nasty comments on her post. Which made her feel bad.

Seeing how badly this fans react, I am a bit dissapointed because it seems that they can’t take any unfavorable comment about their idol. They should have be open minded enough that not all people would like their idol. Me included. Actually, I haven’t seen this actress act nor have seen any of her series and movies. But I remember hearing her one time in an interview and I told myself that even if she speak english you can say that she has no breeding. Yes. I can say I am good at judging people by the way they talk. And so I was right.

Just a few months back this actress was already caught on video which was uploaded in YOUTUBE yelling at one of her fans (?). I dont recall the whole incident because I really don’t care but according to her PR, she was tired and the fan was harassing her. Whatever! I don’t really care. If my blogger friend did not write about her I am close to clueless about this actress.

Oh well, this made me thankful that I have intelligent commenters who can say their point view in a nice manner and are open to contrasting ideas.
