Weekend with Calvin Chen and Wu Chun

okay, just pretend that I am a teenager not a mother of a two year old, if you are going to read this entry. lol.

Many of you have heard of it. In fact it was repeatedly aired in ABS-CBN and written in a lot of blogs (in fact, WU CHUN in MANILA is my top most search word for this blog) that Wu Chun and Calvin Chen will be coming over to Manila July 12 - July 14. ABS even mentioned the programs that they will be guesting. Okay, I admit, even it I am turning 30 next year, I am one of those who swooned over Wu Chun. haha! Alam to ni daddy. So it follows that I would be in front of the tv watching them.

There first stop is in Entertainment Live. Where they were interviewed by Bianca Gonzales and Toni Gonzaga. First time they were asked if they were single. The fans shouted ELLA, ELLA. Toni  kept on calling WU CHUN, Wu. Didn’t she knows that last name comes first for Chinese, Korean and Japanese. Calvin and Chun sang a song and to their suprise the fan sang with them. I think both were suprised to received the warm welcome. The fans are literallly screaming their hearts out. Chun said they will be coming back and he’s hoping that it would be soonest and Calvin asked the fans if they can come back with Jiro and Aaron.

Second stop. Pinoy Dream Academy. Calvin and Chun performed on stage. It seems Calvin has more energy than Chun. His smile is really something. haha! Again, they were asked if they were single and Toni kept calling Wu Chun, Wu. There were fans from Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong and Taiwan who flew in just to see the two.

Third stop. ASAP ‘08. Okay, this one really irritates me. The waiting is too long. I have to put up with the birthday celebration of Claudine, performance of the cover boys, diether and jed madela’s birthday celebration and the tribute to daboy before the two were called on stage. Actually it was the last segment in ASAP. haha! They were asked again if they were single.

Fourth stop. The Buzz. Good thing it was not the last part. But second to the last. lol. In the vtr before the interview, Boy Abunda kept on calling Wu Chun, Wu. And then Ruffa asked them if they are single. This time Wu Chun reacted by answering we have been asked that a lot of times already (haha, nagtaray na ang lolo mo! ang kulit kasi eh) and then Boy Abunda corrected himself by explaning that Chinese last name come first so the name of Wu Chun is CHUN. haha, finally! In this interview, Chun revealed that 80% of the employees in Fitness Zone are Filipino. That’s why he knows and loves CHICKEN ADOBO ( a native Filipino dish which is made up of chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, pepper and laurel leaves, etc.) There is a part of the interview which made me laugh. The two were asked about their impression of Filipina. I think Chun answered they are cute etc. Then Ruffa asked if they can name those Filipina who they think are cute. Especially since they met a lot of actresses. The two cannot mentioned any name. haha! Either they are bad in remembering names or they are not really interested. lol! After The Buzz guesting, they will be having a MEET and GREET WITH THEIR FANS. I just remembered JOBERT SUCALDITO saying ALTHOUGH THE TWO ARE FAMOUS BOTH ARE HUMBLE!

So that’s my weekend. Okay, its not entirely spent in front of the tv. Just this morning I went to a nearby clinic to have my 2d echo and some blood test. That would be on a different post.
