I haven’t done BTT for a long time now and I am happy that I love the topic today.
Think about your favorite authors, your favorite books . . . what is it about them that makes you love them above all the other authors you’ve read? The stories? The characters? The way they appear to relish the taste of words on the tongue? The way they’re unafraid to show the nitty-gritty of life? How they sweep you off to a new, distant place? What is it about those books and authors that makes them resonate with you in ways that other, perfectly good books and authors do not?
If you ask me who my favorite authors are I have two : John Grisham and Robert Ludlum. For some reason I find their writings similar. Mostly because their books always makes my heart beat faster because of the suspense and I never can stop, once I started reading their novel. It seems the character, the scenery and everything in their book comes to life. For John Grishman I always like the way he presented his story and how it unfold. On the other hand, I love all the characters in Robert Ludlum’s novel especially JASON BOURNE ( I am not sure how many times i read BOURNE IDENTITY, BOURNE SUPREMACY and BOURNE ULTIMATUM). Both writers comes first as my favorite and followed by the famous J.K. Rowling who was able to made me enter the magical world through Harry Potter.

I enjoy reading John Grisham’s books; I’ve yet to read Robert Ludlum though. And of course I’ve to agree about J.K. Rowling’s HP books, they’re simply marvelous!

I’m a Grisham fan too, but although I tried one of Ludlum’s books, it didn’t do it for me.

I love Robert Ludlum. Bourne books were my favourites too. Followed by Parsifal Mosaic. I gave up on Grisham some time back. I don’t like his books any more.

I’ve read the Bourne books but haven’t read Grisham. And Rowling’s world was terrific.

Robert Ludlum is one of my all time favorite authors. I’ve read all of his stuff, but The Bourne Identity still holds a special place in my heart because it was the first of its kind that I ever read, and it hooked me on the suspense genre. So much so, that I can’t go a week without reading some kind of suspense. Right now I’m reading a great action thriller called Death in Small Doses by Bernard Steele. It’s got all the elements of a good Ludlum too … massive amounts of action, and edge of your seat suspense all the way through.
