One difficult customer

thats me! lol! But I am being difficult because I am receiving crappy service from PLDT.

And this are the reason why I choose to be a difficult customer :

  • I reported a problem to their hotline last Saturday night. Their engineer called me in the morning asked for my speed. When he saw that  my speed is already 1000mbps, he just told me to monitor
  • I told the engineer about the inconsistency of the speed I am getting and he told me na ganun daw talaga especially if there are many user. I answered back that his reasoning is not acceptable since why should they have different plans if all user will share the same speed, d ba?
  • Monday and Tuesday passed by. I haven’t received any call from PLDT. Tuesday lunch time I called 171. The problem I reported last June 14 was closed already. I was wondering HOW COME IT WAS CLOSED, WHEN THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED. I asked the agent to reopen the ticket.
  • After talking to the agent and giving my instruction I called their rebates section. Actually I am not after the refund but rather I am testing the credibility of their rebate system. And as expected, the agent told me I am not entitled for a refund because the ticket was close at the same day. I told the rebates agent my concern on the credibility of their reports which is their basis for refund. I think their agents together with their engineer will make sure to close their ticket the same day.
  • I called 171 again. This time to verify if the call center agent followed my instruction to open the ticket. But again, I expected this. They did not reopen the ticket but rather made a new ticket for me.
  • !71 insisted that an engineer went to our house. I told them that I am not sure as to what the engineer hold as a proof of going to our house but somehow it seems that he is making up his report. Said engineer took almost the whole day to get to our house the first time and then last Sunday he reported that he went to our house.

I burn telephone lines yesterday since I am really fuming mad! If I was not in services and not familiar with that field maybe I might not be this hard on them. But their system, is the kind of system I have dealt with for eight years. I know every excuses  that an engineer can come up and their way of working (they always wished problems can be resolved via phone assist. lol!) because I have lots of friends from the field and I am married to a field engineer who never runs out of excuses (peace Mahal!). I may have worked with a different product but I know how it works. I told them I am going to write a complain letter already. Pasalamat sila busy akong nanood ng ALL ABOUT EVE kaya tinamad ako. lol!

But this morning, just before lunch time the engineer went to our house. He told me that the socket for PLDT LINE  should not be in the same socket with electricity. Eh alam pala nya to bakit nde nya ginawa nung una palang. Bad trip. So he made another outlet and now I am running on 1000+mbps. Although napagod na yata ung speedtest sa kin ayaw ng lumitaw. lol!
