This week’s theme/prompt is:
HEADS *OR* TAILS – Wait *OR* Weight.
And I choose WEIGHT. My biggest problem of ALL! lol! just kidding.
But I have been seeing an up and down battle on my weighing scale eversince I was in college. When I was just in my teens I was really, really skinny. Who would have thought that when I started working I would gain those pounds little by little. And so, I was categorized on the ‘chubby’ side. Until I met LUPUS.
A few months before I was diagnosed with LUPUS, I started to loss weight. And I was glad because I was not doing some dieting but I can see the scale go down. As my weight goes down, the joint pain started until the butterfly fast appeared and my life was not the same again.
For the past six years (wow! that long) of struggling with LUPUS, my weight have been up and down. Sometimes it goes down but most of the times it goes up with occassional moon face brought about by a high dosage of LUPUS. But now, its constantly on UP eversince I gave birth. lol! I think I am at my heaviest.
At present, I am trying to lost those excessesssssss poundssssss (hehe!) by buying a treadmill which unfortunately I am not able to use because of lack of will power and discipline. I wanted to loss weight to make sure I am healthy just in case God will grant us baby#2. For now, I am searching and searching for the will to shed of those fat. Wish me luck.
And to wrap my HOT, I snatched two pics I have published in one of my entry way back 2005. I call this pics the FACE and BODY of LUPUS.

Good luck on your weight loss journey … start a little at time 10-15mins a few times a day if you are medically fit. Then increase slowly as you feel encouraged.

I am also with you on needing to lose it~like 50 lbs. of it in the hopes that I want to have my first child. Bless you having Lupus~my best friend has it and I sympathize with the ups and downs. I am with you on not having motivation. I have a tread mill that I absolutely hate getting on. I would love to have that urge to work out more often. I used to have it.
