You have seen me….
From my ‘nene’ days
To this time of motherhood
From my very first day at IBM Repair Center
To the time I climbed up the organizational chart
From being clueless on what to do as a supervisor (a position you once have)
To the time that I even argue with the Managers
From the onslaught of lupus
To the time I was declared in remission
From being so worried about the effect of lupus to our baby
To the time that I am worried still
From being scared on my first taste of motherhood
To the time that I know how to handle Anevay
From the moment of separation I thought I cannot endure
To the time I was able to cope but missing your every moment

Through all this time….
Of innocence
You have guide me to see the real world and get out of my shell
Of learning
You have teach me the tricks of the trade and how to stand my ground
Of growing
You have showed me how to be wise and fight my own battles
Of sickness
You have encourage me to fight and hold my hand for support
Of apprehension
You prayed with me for our first unborn
Of being a first time mom
You have been my strength by saying the right words at the right time
Of separation
You are guiding me still on what to do to overcome the pain and longing

Now…
It’s been three years
Clad in our pants and white tshirt
We said our I dos in front of the judge
With two strangers to witness our union
Things have been different from that year to this year
Even my love for you has changed
It has grown stronger through the years
But still one thing remains
I would always say “NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU”
