Ayan tapos na ang mga patalastas back to regular programming na.
Vannie tagged me. I am planning to blog about Anevay so hitting two birds with one stone ito.
- Anevay is an unexpected blessing to us. When we learn that we are pregnant, I still was not sure if I was healthy enough to carry on with my pregnancy. And there might be side effect of the meds that I am taking. We thought the pregnancy was both costly and risky. But fortunately everything went smoothly. That’s why her second name is Jahzara. I found it through the internet. Jahzara is an African name for blessed princess. And Anevay was choosen by her father. It means superior. And to add to the blessings, Anevay was born July 23 (my due date is July 30) which is the birthday of my deceased father.
- My husband left to work in Kuwait when Anevay was only three months old. Yet the first word that Anevay uttered clearly was Daddy. And when you asked her where is daddy she would either look into the laptop or the pictures of her daddy in the wall. But the recent vacation of her daddy proves to be their bonding moment. She now really knows who her daddy is.
- Since she was an infant I would sing to her before she sleeps. She recognized the Butterfly kisses song. I know its a wedding song but I love its message so I kept on singing it to her. Until this time Anevay would go to sleep when I sing that song. When she is fuzzy and all, just a song from Mommy will ease her tantrum.
- Anevay attended Tumble tots and Kindermusik classes. I think both contributed to her development. Contrary to what others are saying against play school, I think Anevay have developed many skills and have been so sociable because of the two play schools.
- Anevay would say hi even to strangers. And she would greet anyone who enters our house with a big smile and a hi. She is that friendly.
- Anevay is now my telephone operator. Everytime the phone rings she would run to the phone and pick it up and say hello. I can determine who is on the other line by her facial expression and the way she handles the call. It would be my siblings if she sings or talks a lot. A stranger is she just listen. Although she still cannot differentiate the difference between the sound of our doorbell and our landline. She would sometimes pick up the phone when somebody rangs our doorbell.
- Anevay does not like dishes with tomato sauce. Yeah, you hear it right. Or anything that has color. She enjoys dishes like sinigang, sinigang sa miso, misua with meatballs, chopsuey etc. But I cannot make her eat sweet n sour fish, pochero etc.
- This one is for her developmental skills. On the 23rd Anevay would be celebrating her 19th month. Right now, I can communicate with her. She now talks to me and shows me what she wants. Everyday we always watch nick and playhouse disney. These two channels have greatly contributed to her speaking and singing skills. And now she can even count one to five. One time, I heard her sing twinkle twinkle little star. Not the entire song but a piece of it. I heard someone singing twinkle twinkle little star when suddenly I heard Anevay singing how I wonder what you are. Although it was not that clear but I was suprised because I have not teach her that song. She also sing along with the My friends tiger and pooh soundtrack as well as the I love you song of Barney. And when she sees barney she would come to me and hug me and say love you. Besides that she also knows to say thank you and sorry. Asked her ‘game ka na ba?’ and she would answer back with game na and would even raised her hand. Asked her ‘what’s gonna work?’ she would answer ‘meamwork’ (teamwork), that’s courtesy of wonderpets in nick jr. Say, M-I-C-K-E-Y and she would say That’s Me! this one she learn through Mickey mouse club house. She sing along with the High Five song. She really likes Johnny Tartaglia. I think he is her first crush. hahaha! She loves to write. Give her a pencil and a paper and she would start writing lines. Asked her to draw a circle and she would draw one. If she’s done writing and watching tv, she would definitely get her books and asked me to read any of the books she fancies.
Okay i think thats enough already. I had fun doing this tag, so now I am passing this to Eds, Nice and Mhay.

teeheehee. ang cute ni anevay,
re twinkle2x little star, when i sing that song during ‘up above the world’ he’d say ‘up-up’ (un pa lang kaya nya) galing ni anevay.

re playschool; i think its a good thing kse it will teach kids to be sociable; and ayaw din ni ozzy ng tomato, ketchuo or sweet & sour dishes. hehehe
