dramas of my life

So here goes my vacation story which I will be doing in three separate entries.

But I think you might be asking, why Cebu ? Well, for one I plan this vacation because I want something different to happen during hubby’s vacation. And since we have not yet have an out of town trip as a family I thought of going somewhere far from home. Which includes riding an airplane. This will also test how Anevay and I would be on the trip. And Cebu because it was the first thing that come to my mind haha!

I booked a flight with Cebu Pacific. Their package tour includes the flight and the booking of the hotel. Which was done through telephone. I was able to book the flight and waited for five days for the hotel confirmation. After receiving the confirmation, we headed to the Cebu Pacific Office in Robinsons Galleria (which was really challenging for me with Anevay in tow and me experiencing some LUPUS pain).

Our flight was scheduled @ 10am. So we needed to be in the airport, 8am. I was already up by 5am and was cleaning the used feeding bottles which we are bringing. All in all, I brought 10 feeding bottles and one water container for Anevay and 10 containers with 3 scoops of milk.

On the way to the airport Anevay was sleeping. But when we got there she was already energetic saying hi to all the people she meet on the waiting area. We have to wait for two hours. Good thing there is a playroom inside the waiting area. Where Anevay stayed.

Our first flight was uneventful. I, being the queen of motion sickness since birth, begin feeling dizzy as the plane makes it way to the clouds. While Anevay, cried as she felt the altitude. She was really crying her hearts out that I started to make me think that the vacation is a big mistake. Even the stuff toy that is being sold by Cebu pacific cannot pacify her.

But when the plane has landed and we were out of it, she started running all over Mactan airport. While waiting for our luggage she went around. We are staying at Crown Regency hotel and they have airport to hotel transfer so they are already waiting for us.

We arrived at the hotel lunch time. We do not have a choice but to eat there. We decided to eat at their restaurant but later decided for a room service because Anevay is starting to throw a tantrum again and we were seated in front of an old foreigner accompanied by three Cebuano male teenagers. At first, I did not notice it but hubby commented something and I noticed that the foreigner was a pedophile. When I noticed his hand gesture I readily told hubby that we just eat on our room.

After eating, I bathe Anevay. Who in turn does not want to leave the bath tub. She was crying when we close the bathroom door. So we decided to go to the swimming pool. Anevay enjoyed her first swimming experience with her daddy but it did not last long since it was really cold.

Fortunately, after their swim she went to sleep. The beds in the hotel are really high. Not baby friendly. I thought of asking for a baby bed but they only got a baby crib which hubby and I agreed that Anevay would not want to sleep in.

Dinner we went to Gaisano Mall and ate at chowking. We already decided to go to Bohol through the package tour that was offered by one of the hotel staff.
