Booking Through Thrusday #1: OOP

Posted December 6th @ 2:51 pm by mil3tt3

It’s my first time to join the Booking Through Thursday!

The question is : Do you have a favourite book, now out of print, that you would like to see become available again?

My answer : As of the moment  I cannot think of any of my favorite book that is out of print already. But I do have one book that until now I am still looking for on all the bookstores here in the Philippines. It’s a book that I was able to browse when I attended a parenting seminar. It is available in Amazon but the shipping cost makes me think twice of purchasing it.

The book is How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk (Paperback) by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish

Hi! And welcome to the BTT! :)
I agree with you…the difference of currency rates and the shipping fees surely makes me think twice about purchasing the book, but if it’s worth it, I’d probably go for it anyway.

That is a good book - I look after our preschool library at the moment so read it there. I gather they have done a new book since then as someone requested I look at it and maybe buy a copy. I haven’t quite got around to it yet though :)

    Happy BTT…

Shipping charges foe India, are more than the price of the books in a few instances. They are not worth it.

Welcome to BTT! Shipping rates can be crazy.

That sounds like a good one. Shipping prices are ridiculous, though, aren’t they?
