Manic Monday, huh?!?

Posted November 5th @ 9:00 pm by mil3tt3

I can’t find the right title since I will be blogging how our weekend was. I’ll create another entry for Nov 2, friday. I’m on the process of uploading some pics.

After a tiring trip to Pampanga, Saturday afternoon saw us in Robinson’s Metro East. We went shopping for LUIS’ shoes. Actually, the shoes are my birthday gift to him but I gave them in advance because his school shoes were already worn out. While he was scouting for his shoes, a pink Fisher Price shoes and a pink slipper caught my eye and eventually I bought both for Anevay ;). I intend to buy some decors for the Christmas tree but I just scrap the idea off since I was already tired.

Then on Sunday, I requested my sister in law to cook some spaghetti. It was Nanay’s birthday last Nov 1 and she really like the spag of Ate Ezra. And they came to our house in the afternoon. So, there are so many people in our house that Anevay was so happy!

Now…it’s Monday!

After cooking, feeding Anevay, take care of her until she sleeps, i took a bath and left our house for my errands. Having my in laws at the house, especially my mother in law gives me the luxury to go out and accomplished what needs to be accomplished like paying the bills, going to the banks and do some grocery shopping.

And this also give me some time to unwind. Yap! I went for a massage again today at Red Bamboo Spa. 90 minutes of me time. Where I just lay on the bed while someone relaxes my muscle. Don’t get me wrong! I’m not getting a massage just because I wanted to. During my recovery, hubby and I discovered the benefits of a massage to me. Being a person with LUPUS, I have experienced severe joint pains and I have a tendency to have blood clot. Massage have help me improved my blood circulation. And from the time we learn about this, I make sure to get a massage even once a month. Before the massage, I let myself enjoy a 15 minutes sauna time, which also has a therapeutic effect on me.

After the massage, I went to David’s for my much needed foot spa and pedicure. For those who know me well, they know that my feet and toes needed extra care. They needed cleaning up every two weeks or else a painful cleaning of my toes is on the way. Believe me! I have suffered a lot of time because of my toes. Unfortunately, there is a queue in David’s. I will have to wait for one hour. So, I tried my luck with the F salon which is just across the corner. Would you believe that I needed to wait at that salon also ?

Hmm..this is bad. I needed a pedi badly. So, I hop on an FX and decided to go to David’s in front of Meralco. And the same story. What is the day today ? And why are these people inside the salon and getting some pedi. haha! I do not want to go home with unclean toes. I cross the street and saw a not so popular salon. I was hesitant at first because if the one doing the pedi is not familiar with the texture of toes (believe me! i have such sensitive toes) I will end up going home with bloody and wounded feet. hehe! And I’m not kidding. I went inside fortunately the hygienist was careful. But I have to wait for tomorrow before I announced to the world that the pedicure was a success.

And then I went home. And surely in just three hours, I already terribly missed my baby! hehe.

Side note :

- I do not know what got into me but I checked the PR of my old blog. And would you believe it…..its PR now is 4! Whaaah!

- I decided to put a sitemeter counter in my blog since the Wordpress stat that I installed is not working. For five days now, it showed zero visitor. I thought that my blog really is in an isolated slot in the worldwide web but when Mhay (hi Mhay!) left a comment and then i put a globetrackr I was able to confirm that it was not really working. So I decided to get a sitemeter counter. And I cannot help but laugh when I saw four similar IPs. Those IPs are familiar to me ;). Very, very familiar. haha!
