I did a different approach today in the kitchen. Since there are so many ingredients that needs to be measured I get my measuring cup, I measured everything from soy sauce, to vinegar, to sugar etc. I was reading the cookbook for reference.
After measuring all the ingredients which i put on separate bowls i started cooking. When I was almost done I noticed that sauce was dark instead of being slightly reddish. So, I know I did something wrong. And from the looks of it, I poured in too much soy sauce. I quickly check with the cookbook and alas! Soysauce should only be 2 tbps not 1/4 cups which I used. Oh men!
I did not think twice. I throw out the mixture that I cook and started from scratch. Can you imagine that! I know, i know, i wasted some money in there plus the effort but I think its too salty to be eaten.
So even though I was tired already I have no choice but to cook again. This time I reread the cookbook and made sure of all the ingredients. hehe!
Well, practice makes perfect, isnt it ?
