I did a post about Mommy. Of course, it wont be complete if I don’t do an entry for my Papa.
And I was supposed to blog about this after Anevay’s 1st trial class in Kindermusik.
You see, Papa loves to sing. He bought a radio then with a mic and he has a karaoke tapes consisting of songs like Fly me to the moon, etc ….(i’m humming to that song right now ). But what I wanted best from all his list of song which we sing in duet is the YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE song.
I knew the lyrics of the song by heart. But I forgot about it until that trial class of Anevay in Kindermusik. It was sung as a lullaby to the babies. And that reminds me of the time I am singing it with Papa.
Since then, when ever I put Anevay to sleep I would sing her that song (its a practice between me and Anevay, that I sing to her songs like the ALPHABET SONG, BUTTERFLY KISSES, WILDFLOWER (her daddy’s song for me), RAINBOW CONNECTION and all other songs she fancies ). And as I sing that song to Anevay, it seems Papa is singing it for me.
Isn’t it obvious I am missing my parents ?
