The princess and I have been home alone last night until today. And it was unlikely of her to wake up at around 8am. Maybe because she was awake at around 4am.
We got a visit from my brother, and after that we have taken a walk to the park, i always do this for her to get a dose of the morning sun and when I needed to think.
After bathing her and feeding her, I decided to bake the banana cake which recipe I saw on the YUMMY magazine. Yap. For the first time, I will baking a cake from the scratch. It took me a while to bake the cake when I have already bought the ingredients (except the banana which we bought yesterday ) last Saturday.
I am a little bit apprehensive while mixing the ingredients and afterwards pouring the mixture in the cupcake papers in my cupcake tray. I have done this while the princess is busy playing with my measuring tools.
And after 20 minutes in the oven….I got this as a result.
They look like cupcakes, right? And the taste, well, for me they taste delicious (no I am not biased) and for the princess…well lets just say she was all smile while eating one. hehehe.
My verdict : SUCCESS!
I was so happy. But my happiness was shortlive and my day was ruined when somebody from KUWAIT BAHRAIN EXCHANGE, the office which hubby is using to send money informed him that the money he send a day before yesterday was put on hold by BDO. Which I did verify with their hotline and head office and the EPCIB Com (the one in charge with remittances) and they said there was no such advisory. When hubby called them again to ask for specific information as to who advised them, they told hubby that the money was not on hold but rather there was a delay on their part. Who are we foo1ing here. It just irritates me that they come up with that claim which is so untrue. Kaasar! And it irks us even more because we are talking of money not in small amounts. That money will be used for paying the balance of the house. Hay! Bwisit talaga! Now, I am not sure what is the status.
Anyway, I will go to sleep now. My back is aching already. Good night everyone. Unfortunately, I was not able to watch the report on the mastermind of the Geraldine Palma Case surrendering to the police. Kuya visited us together with LUIS. And the princess enjoyed seeing her Kuya Luis that she did not want to leave our room where her kuya is staying. hehe.
