Just finished cleaning the area outside our rooms. Area includes our dining and sala. Yap. I’ve done the cleaning tonight around 8 to 9 pm. That is because the princess is already sleeping and I saw myself with nothing to do. Of course, I decided not to log on to the internet yet since hubby is still working.
I swept the floor and then got a rag soak it in water with lysol (to disinfect the floors). I needed to do this to make sure that the area that the princess is staying is clean because she has a habit of picking up everything she fancies and then she put the objects in her mouth. Believe me its tiring to be always on the lookout for those small thingy but its necessary to be alert for the sake of the princess.
I changed the carpet we are using in the dining area because it has a lot of tiny objects. I used the one we are using in the sala (which I removed since I think it causes skin irritation to Anevay). Now, I can put my mind at ease for now and tomorrow morning that the area is clean. But in the afternoon I am no longer sure because that already means that she already has eaten which sometimes can be really messy.
Speaking of eating, for the past two days Anevay has been eating a lot. Thanks to my cooking. hahaha! No really am not kidding. She even eats the meatballs i did prepared today. I do not have the luxury to cook her meals its my sister in law who does the cooking.
But no matter how much she eats, she has minimal weight gain. Which we attribute to her “kalikutan”. She is really full of energy. And I thank god for that.
Day in, day out, it has always been getting up early, feed her, bathe her, put her to sleep, look after her, make sure that she wont fall from all the exploration she is doing. And all these stuff are tiring. Am I complaining ? Of course not. Because this makes me happiest. This is what I wanted and dream of.
No, being a stay at home mom is not easy. It entails a lot of hardwork and patience. You don’t have leaves nor break time just like when you are in the office. Yet, it surpasses the natural high that you feel from a compliment or commendation that you received from your boss. Yes, believed me, it is not easy but is the best!
