This past few weeks, my inlaws and I keep on probing as to who killed the 3 year old girl in the news. The first news about her was that she was with her mother and father on a mall. After that she went with her father on another section and afterwards the girl went missing. After a few days she was found dead on a man made ditch early this week.
I cannot define what I felt because of this news. Being a mother, one cannot even describe the grief of one who losses her child. The report was not clear until yesterday.
This was the whole story. I got it from Inquirer :
How could the father kill her daughter ? A 3 year old that is ? He was under the influence of drug.

Last updated 02:00am (Mla time) 07/07/2007MANILA, Philippines – The father of a 3-year-old girl has been tagged by the police as the primary suspect in her murder.
The girl was found in a man-made ditch in Pasig City early this week.
Eastern Police District director Chief Supt. Luizo Ticman arrested yesterday Jayson Noriega, 22, of Block 27 Lot 13 Phase 1A Kasiglahan, Rodriguez, Rizal.
The girl went missing on June 28. She was found floating in a ditch on Meralco Avenue, Pasig two days later. The girl had a stab wound in her left chest. Her skull was also broken, a police report said.
Dr. Emmanuel Aranas of the EPD Crime Laboratory said there was no evidence that the girl was sexually abused.
In an interview, Ticman said the suspect “confessed” to investigators.
The suspect underwent a drug test to determine if he was under the influence of illegal drugs during the incident.Police investigators showed Noriega printouts taken from a mall’s surveillance cameras. Noriega and his live-in partner Rizalyn Tagoboc were shown with two children entering SM Centerpoint at about 8:34 p.m. on June 28.
At 9:02 p.m. Noriega was shown leaving the mall with a child, who was clinging to him. Another photograph showed the foot of a little girl. The camera caught Noriega at 9:05 p.m. entering the mall again but he was already alone, Ticman said.
Ticman said Noriega was separated from the girl’s mother.
The EPD chief said the suspect admitted he got irritated by the girl’s crying. “I didn’t know what got into me. She didn’t want to stop crying,” he told police.
Noriega admitted to authorities that he gave the girl to a yet unidentified companion when he left the mall.
Ticman said they are investigating the whereabouts of the suspect’s companion known only as “Ugo.”
