This is just a continuation of my entry about my Year end assesment at work.
Although there is a buzz that I would be receiving an award it turns out BUZZ lang pala yun.
Missai and I went to our Kick off in Holiday Inn in Ortigas last Tuesday, Feb 6. We wanted to be early because there is a free jackets for early birds.
Sa registration pa lang nafrustrate na ko. I am not sure if its because 103 seldom shells out funds for jacket with the company logo kaya ayun lahat yata ng tao gusto ng magkajaket.
So nagstart na ung program. Then the awardings. I just have a hunch that I wont be receiving one even if a lot of people including my BIG BLUE manager are giving hints that I will be receiving one. Tama ako.
Missai and I left holiday inn empty handed.
Buti na lang kamo, I went to the grocery to buy Anevay Cerelac. Because I found cute slippers that have made my day beautiful.
The next day, lahat ng tao sa office talaga palang nageexpect that I will be receiving an award. My BIG BLUE manager told me na sigurado sya na may award dapat ako. Because may pinirmahan daw sya na funds for my award. Eh san napunta un ? Kasi sabi ko baka ilalagay na lang nila sa incentive but he is adamant na award daw un.
Hay naku. Ewan ko ba. This time I felt bad. Because this was also the scenario last year when my previous BIG BLUE boss kept on asking me if I received any monetary award. Eh wala talaga eh.
Ano ba ito ? Gobyerno ? Na iintercept ung funds ?
I dont know what to think. But from what have happen, ito lang hinala ko. I did not received any award because I am working for BIG BLUE not for 103. I cannot help but remember the comments of one FM na my salary would not be as high as those working for 103 because I am deployed.
Come to think of it. They are parading that they are a BIG BLUE company but they are not happy that BIG BLUE is happy with my performance. Na buti sa big blue may award ako sa AP pa ha. Weird.
It goes to show that God is really telling me to quit. Isa na itong sign because 103 was never fair when it comes to treating its deployed employee.
Pasalamat na lang ako that still many people believe in my capabilities with or without citation from 103.
Buhay talaga oo. Let see. I am waiting for my salary this coming 14th and titingnan ko kung andun ung pinirmahan ni boss. Pero kung wala. Its time.
