I have already said in my previous post that we are facing a problem regarding househelp. As of this time, I am one day shy of my 9th month we have not yet acquired any househelp. We are coping even if its just the two of us at home. I am still doing the laundry and ironing. Hubby takes care of cooking and washing of the dishes. Although we do not cook a lot.
At the start of our life together we tried to cook. But most of the times we ended up having more excess which ended up in the trash bag. What a waste right? And both of us work so at the end of the day we are both tired, too tired that we can’t cook a decent meal.
Whats with the waste of food and the lack of time plus the fact that we will starve to death if we prepare the food after coming home. Which is a no no for both of us because hubby have stomach problems and me also. If we ate late we would end up throwing up all the foods we ate. With all this condition we decided to eat out during dinner after work. But this proves to be expensive. WE cannot always eat at Jollibee or KFC because too much chicken is also bad for the health although these are the two fast food that are not that expensive.
Aside from this two here are the food chain/restos/ food joints or whatever you call them, which hubby and I frequent for the last 8 or more months.
JOLLIBEE and KFC - both are the less expensive among the joints we frequnt. We order their chicken (for Jollibee and KFC) and sometimes the burger steak in Jollibee. For KFC, i dont really like their ice tea. And there was a time that they were serving their chickent combo with green tea. Parusa! Not for me because I only drink water. No icetea. Pagnakakalusot lang.
Kenny Rogers - this ones a fave for both of us. We love Kenny’s chicken and its always SOLO A for us. We love KR proof of which is the umbrella we got from the frequency card. You need to have seven visits to KR and your meal should cost Php 250 before you can get a freebies. If both of us are tired, hungry, stressed Kenny is one of the options.
Shakeys - hmmm…mojos, pizza, spaghetti with monster ball ( i forgot what they call in the meat balls ) and chicken. But it is somehow expensive. Pag may craving lang kami ng mojos then thats the time na pupunta kami dito.
Krung Thai - this one is a resto in Marikina. Specializing in thai foods na may counterpart naman sa Filipino. They have seafoods rice and their mango salad is a winner talaga.
And last but not the least…
MAX’s - no ifs. no buts. pero once a week dito kami kumakain. it might be expensive, we ignore the cost basta makakain kami ng sinigang ng Max and for hubby their crab meat fried rice.
But now, since we cannot go to Maxs without spending a hefty sum of money I delegated myself to buy food from our canteen. Ulam na may sabaw para kay JOB. When my OB told me that fastfood foods are a no no. plus the fact that JOB is not growing daw. Kaya bigla akong nagiba ng eating patterns which I think have done good to JOB.
And when I am on maternity leave I will try to cook some healthy foods for hubby.
God willing.
