It’s nearing the end of October and a few months 2005 will be over. And i am thankful that I am feeling ok right now.
My meds now is pred, plaquenil and coumadin. although, i dont religiously drink coumadin because of the health hazard just in case i get pregnant (accidentally!).There are two things i am addicted to now. Which I think is a good addiction. Good to my health and my lupus. Two things : GYM and SAUNA.
Right now, my husband and I religiously go to the fitness club that we are currently member. Last August, I was already to give up going to the gym but alas! the gym got my money from my savings account automatically so I have no choice but to go to the gym.
My routine in the gym : stretching, treadmill (20 mins going on to 30 mins), bike (20 mins going on to 30), another machine which is like brisk walking (20 going on to 30). i love to used the machines that focus on my tummy. I want to have firm ABS! he..he..he. Every Sat i join mat workout classes. Yoga exercise which focus on the tummies. Sarap pakiramdam talaga after every exercise. I feel revived and parang nawawala stress ko.
I just feel going to the gym revitalized me. Lalo na after going to the sauna.
I have search for the health benefits of sauna and hubby was right after all. Sauna is beneficial to steriod dependent patients and improved blood circulation. Not only that 15 mins of sauna gives me time to myself. to think and analyze everything.
Its really a blessing.
Improvement … although even if i go to the gym I still gain 3 kilos, i still think there’s more to weight loss. I can now jog and have increase my mobility. Fact is I am back to my old mobility. Nde na ko lolang maglakad! Yehey!
